We recently received an email from the folks over at James Jeans with some fresh press. Inside the pages of the Fall issue of the InStyle Makeover edition Blake Lively, the star of Gossip Girl is pictured wearing some great denim jeans from the popular fashion designer. For those of you that aren’t familiar with the television show (myself included); you may be more familiar with her film career.
In 2005 Blake played Bridget in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and Monica in the comedy hit Accepted. If you’re a fan of Blake Lively she’s also in the upcoming sequel to The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants due out next week (August 6th).

The Junk Food Clothing line is becoming widely recognized in the celebrity world and new stars are popping up in the tabloids with each new issue donning these fantastic retro designs. A few weeks ago we published some great photos in our Junk Food - Fresh Press article with some of the hottest celebrities in Hollywood.
Today we bring you “Hannah Montana” herself, Miley Cyrus. We know she doesn’t want to be referred to as her on-air alter ego, but we couldn’t help ourselves. In the photo, she’s wearing a great t-shirt from Junk Food that’s simply titled “Ciao!”.

In the recent issue of the fashion magazine Fashion Rocks, Justin Timberlake graces the cover and talks about the success of William Rast; the clothing line that he and long-time friend Trace Ayala started. If you haven’t seen the recent issue, you should pick it up just for the article. It appears there is a bit of a rivalry between J.T. and fellow fashion guru Ashton Kutcher. In the article Justin is asked about Kutcher’s claim of “being responsible for trucker caps”. Justin claims that he and friend Trace Ayala were the original trend-setters to rock the trucker hat when they were teens.
Regardless of who actually re-introduced the trucker hat to the masses, they are big sellers for both William Rast and Zoo York. When Justin Timberlake and his pal Trace Ayala first created their stellar clothing company William Rast; Justin never wanted to be the “face” of the brand. Well, that all has changed as a new creative team has presented J.T. with a plan that got him into the mix.
Creative directors Johan and Marcella Lindeberg came up with an idea for Justin to take on the role of a fictional character named “William Rast”, which in their vision “isn’t meant to be Justin, it’s Justing playing a role, as an actor. When we explained the idea, he instantly loved it and got really into building the profile of this character.” said Johan Lindeberg.
The new campaign will consist of a series of short, web-based documentaries called “My Name Is William Rast”. Timberlake will take on the persona of a mysterious rebel with his love interest Birdie, played by model Erin Wasson. The campaign will have an edgy, raw look to it and the story line is something reminiscent of the 1960s classic film Bonnie & Clyde. Every time we turn around or see more press there is the beautiful Jessica Simpson wearing her Savoy Lowrise Jeans by William Rast. The great thing about Jess is she just isn’t happy with the standard style of the sleek, sexy jeans…she likes to customize her fashions. In the picture above Jessica has taken a pair of shears, scissors or some other sharp object and carved up some super sexy cutoff shorts from a pair of her Savoy Lowrise denims…but, that’s obviously not her only pair.
We’ve got another candid shot of Jessica filming a music video with her Savoy’s on. We’re not 100% sure of which song the video is for, but it looks very country. Her last country-themed video was from the Dukes of Hazzard movie where Jess played Daisy Duke. This picture looks very similar to that same theme. We recently received some press from our contacts at James Jeans. In the August issue of Cosmopolitan there is a feature on the latest denim fashions and James Jeans has been highlighted. The cameras spotted former Miss Teen USA and MTV Total Request Live host, Vanessa Minnillo taking her dog for a walk around town wearing a great designer ensemble. The top is from the Retro Sport NFL collection (New York Giants to be exact) and the jeans are the Daisy in Jupiter wash from William Rast.

The new clothing lines from the best designers around keep making their way into the store. This time we’ve added a couple of great men’s button down shirts from 7 Diamonds. These new shirts have the classic cuts and designs that are reminiscent of retro western wear. Each of the shirts are made from the finest materials and will go great for either a night out on the town or a casual work setting. These shirts are great and we can’t wait to bring in more of the stylish designs from 7 Diamonds.

The weekend crowds were in full force this Fourth of July weekend. The weather was great and everyone seemed to be enjoying the festivities around Arrabelle at Vail Square. Arriesgado Clothing celebrated the holiday in grand style with some great sales on some top notch designer lines and with a free limited edition t-shirt to celebrate Fourth of July 2008.
We also celebrated the weekend with a few new designer lines being added to our ever expanding catalogue. This past week we added some great stuff from T-Bags of Los Angeles, LaRock and 7 Diamonds. We will be posting some images of the new lines and items as we get them in-store.
