The story of Debra Shepard jewelry goes back to when the designer was in college at the California College of Arts & Crafts in 1972. While she was there, she decided to try something new for a project; and she created a new and unique type of earring that was light and fashionable and didn't require post backings.
Over the next three decades Debra would occasionally work on a new design, but it was mostly a hobby to her. Then in 2002, she was rummaging through her old jewelry box with her daughter and found the original pair of earrings she made in 1972. From that point until now, her earring collection has exploded on the market, sold in more than 1000 boutiques in 21-countries. Hollywood is taking notice too with many celeb endorsers. |
