End of Winter Season 2011 is Here
Happy Easter Everybody.
Vail Mountain is closing down after an absolutely amazing season. We’ve had more snow this year than in all the years the resort has been in operation. And the last day, well, its another epic blue sky powder day. It doesn’t get much better than this folks. Thanks for some wonderful memories. The past few months have been a blast. The annual Great Sale at Arriesgado clothing finishes today at 10pm. It’s been a great success. Local DJ, Angie Muzic was playing the turntables yesterday afternoon providing a great vibe to all our patrons. As we get into what we locals call mud season here in Vail, the store will remain in operation, though reduced hours will be in effect. Check out our Facebook Fanpage for more details. But, don’t worry, now that things have calmed down a little bit here, that doesn’t mean that the staff of Arriesgado Clothing are going to put their feet up. Oh no, to the contrary, we have a lot of exciting new developments in the works. First off, the Great Cyber Sale will take place all week following Easter, that’s Monday April 25- Sunday May 1. If you didn’t get the chance to pick up some of our amazing bargains during the Great Sale, now is the time. Again, our Fanpage will have all the details. Also, we’ll be continuing with our original Fashion 101 series, exploring the very foundations of fashion, style, and looking good. We’ll also have a Brand Focus series, providing in depth information about today’s most cutting edge brands, their origins, and what they are all about. Our long awaited newsletter is finally in the pipe line. You can expect monthly updates of all the new product in the store, developments in the world of fashion, and best of all, special discounts on featured brands! Clogs are Cool Babe
My wife says “clogs are cool babe, admit it” and I have to admit it, I think she is right. With a little more research and investigating, in a matter of a day I have changed my mind, clogs could be cool. Earlier today I wrote a blog stating I would never support the coming clog trend, but I was wrong. I can imagine most of you envision the same thing as me when you think of a clog. I think of those old, boring not so fashion forward styles you see all over mountain towns such like the one I live in. Sorry, no offense to those of you who wear them, but they just are not cutting edge fashion to me. For those of you that envision the same thing as me, you will be disappointed with the trend as well, until you see. These are not your ancestor’s shoes anymore, a new style of clog is hitting the market and they are definitely fashion worthy.
