Signature prints and bold solids marked by bohemian-chic and vintage allure of t-bags reflect the invention, personality and wit of the designers. Started as a handbag line by Shadi Askaria and Su-Lyn Tay while they were doing post-graduate work at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles.
Both women quickly realized that there was a lack of affordable but innovative lines. They began by molding vintage, suede and upholstery fabrics into distinctive handbags that sold in boutiques and upscale department stores.
From there the two designers say that the progression from handbags to their in-demand clothing line was natural. Today, t-bags clothing transcends from mod and rock glamor to playful sophistication. |
